i am exhausted !

Well, it’s a lot to learn….. 10 week old baby. 1 income. marriage. new state. yikes!

….although I have been in Rhode Island for (just) a year already (i can’t believe it – the one year anniversary was last week), it doesn’t feel like it. as soon as I moved here, I got a job as a restaurant manager working 60 to 70 hours a week. I held that job for six months. I was pregnant for all six months. I was managing 9 small restaurants at an airport, and I had never been more exhausted in my life.

As soon as I quit that job, due to a sudden bleed which scared me to no end – I had to finish up the details of planning for our wedding. As soon as the wedding was over – as wonderful as that day was – I had to finally start preparing for the baby.

And then , all of a sudden, Baby was here! What a year.

I miss my friends in Vermont. I miss having more money. I miss a more relaxed lifestyle. None of that matters though. My husband and son are sleeping right now. They are the biggest blessings I have ever received in this world. I am grateful forever.

Time to catch some sleep before the next feeding….
