CRAYON BAKING ? REALLY?
ART PROJECT KIDS WILL LOVE!
We used to do this at the restaurant I managed in Vermont as a way to save money . We always had so many broken pieces and odds and ends ( how do kids break crayons so quickly ) that I decided we had to take cost saving action.
After exhaustive googling at this unsightly early hour ( for me, 6:30 is early still) – I found two stellar tutorials for you folks out there in frugal land. I have two tutorials for you. The first tutorial would be best for the detail-oriented person – and the second tutorial works for the rest of us.
I love how simple and clean Jill's crayon making process is. The fire hydrant crayons are super cute and easy to replicate (though I never got that fancy – ahem see below).
2. Rainbow Crayons!
I just love all of the different options she shows – and how wildly simple rainbow crayon making is! In the words of Napolean Dynamite – YES.
