Decorative Wall Ideas for Apartment Dwellers Who Can’t Paint

Wonderful Wallpapers And Wall Stickers For Every Kid’s Room

I wish I could paint my son’s room blue – and stencil in clouds, trees and owls. That would be nice :) Sadly – we live in an apartment and don’t have that option.  So what to do? We have a colorful blanket hanging up which really brightens up the room – and I also found a bunch of nursery DIY wall art ideas that don’t require painting.
Another option is the current trend in removable vinyl wall art and the folks at My Urban Child have provided us with some style tips. What I love about vinyl wall art is that it’s reusable – for apartment dwellers like me , this is important because it means it can move with you.

From My Urban Child:
Wallpapers liven up a room, bringing life to bare walls and giving guests to your home something to talk about. No matter what the theme of your kid’s room is, there’s surely a wallpaper or wall sticker design that will complement it.

For example, most kids love being outdoors. They enjoy playing and wandering in the playground, climbing trees and exploring the outside world in general. Well if you’re indoors, you can still give your kid an outdoor feel with a unique wallpaper  such as the Avalisa Forest wallpaper! Instantly brighten up a room with Avalisa’s inviting and energizing designs. If your kid loves butterflies, then Ferm Living Butterflies Wall Smart Wallpaper is the perfect choice. Its rose, purple, and lavender shades will definitely be a welcome sight in  bare walls.

Or what about funky prints for your boy’s wall? This Robot wallpaper is truly unique and eye-catching!  Also worth checking out is the cute Ferm Living Three Owls – Red Wall Stickers. We’ve seen a lot of nurseries and kids’ rooms with owl themes recently and if you’ve got a thing for cute, big-eyed owls as well, we’ve got plenty of owl themed wall stickers to choose from!

Finally, if you’re just a bit bored with your own room or if you’d like to add something new to your living room without spending a lot, consider wallpapers for the modern, creative mom such as this Barcode wall sticker or this Living calendar wall sticker

With so many creative and innovative wallpapers designs, surely both kids and moms like you will take pleasure having them in your home.
